{"id":278,"date":"2006-11-20T04:52:00","date_gmt":"2006-11-20T04:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ayearofsongs.org\/blg\/?p=278"},"modified":"2015-10-29T22:57:31","modified_gmt":"2015-10-30T05:57:31","slug":"my-second-mistake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ayearofsongs.org\/blg\/2006\/11\/20\/my-second-mistake\/","title":{"rendered":"My Second Mistake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ayearofsongs.org\/ayearofsongs\/images\/blogimages\/secondMistake.jpg\" alt=\"M y Second Mistake\" align=\"left\" border=\"1\" hspace=\"6\" vspace=\"2\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This new instrumental started out a s a goof, a rig test, and evolved into a sort of homage to the old raga rock would-be psychedelic excursions of the mid 60s.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d heard <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/templates\/story\/story.php?storyId=6502991\" target=\"_blank\">a bit on NPR<\/a> about an Indian American who&#8217;d written a book on applying sitar and Indian music techniques to guitar.
