But since 9\/28\/2001, the President and the Congress have managed to spend and borrow their way into a 44% increase in the national debt in just six years<\/span> for a total debt of $8,351,722,841,145.07<\/a>. (8.35 trillion dollars<\/span>) <\/a><\/p>\n
